Today is BC's first Family Day holiday. It's been a great weekend hanging out and relaxing. Today we are taking the relaxing to almost sloth-like lol.
I've posted twice already(here and here) about the quilt I quilted for Christmas; there were a lot more than I had thought there were lol. Here's the last batch.
Jackie made these quilts for her grandsons.
All were quilted with a meander.
She used such fun fabrics.
And because two of the quilts were the same, she snuck a few pretzel fabric pieces into one of the quilts to keep them separate.
Jean made this lovely log cabin quilt.
quilted with Tulip Festival
I quilted the pattern everywhere but the applique blocks, those were meandered so no quilting on the applique.
Folk Heart is a very popular pattern of our customers. The following quilts were all quilted using it.
I love how the pattern shows up on her minkee backing.
Sheila also had more quilts.
This one for her daughter.
quilted with Flowing Feathers
And this one for her husband.
quilted with Falling Leaves
A perfect man quilt.
Shawna pieced this music themed quilt.
The perfect quilting pattern for this quilt? Mozart of course!
Sophie did this quilt for her grandson.
How fun is this quilting pattern?
Rose did this disappearing 9patch.
quilted with Laurie
Rose has just done another similar quilt in shades of blue; it is so striking.
Patti did this quilt for her sister.
quilted with Shooting Star
Lastly, this Asian inspired quilt by Margaret. Margaret's granddaughter was moving to Japan over the holidays and this was a memory quilt for her.
I did a stipple in the picture blocks and on the printed gold blocks, a block inset.
The quilting is hard to see with the gold matching thread.
I did straight lines thru the setting triangles and the border as well.
And that is it!! whew!
