I showed my TrueNorth quilt last week and
I could not hold off on quilting it up any longer.
I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out.
This is the Ribbon Star Variation block.
There were a few blocks that were too small and/or ivory was used instead of white, so I pieced them into the backing.
I was always against pieced backings but now with the cost of fabric, piece all the quilt backs!
I kept the quilting simple and think it turned out well.

I had just enough of the polka dots for the binding.
And ended up with a wee hijacker during our photo shoot.
I played catch up on our true north bee blocks.
These are going to be some pretty fantastic quilts.
And I got my true north quilt together!
Can't wait to get this quilted; it turned out so good.
And because I could, I signed up for another bee round!
Hello! Remember me?
I showed this a few months ago when I pieced it.
I absolutely love this fabric line. And I truly love this quilt.
I've had this panto for a while and figured this would be the perfect quilt to try it on.

I love the texture it gives to the quilt.
As you can see, I went with a thread that blended in with the fabrics and stands out in the background.
Short and sweet for today but I promise no more disappearing acts.
