I'm Rhonda aka Quilt Nut, a quilty wife and a mother to four boys. We live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
I've always loved to sew; I grew up making doll and Barbie clothes, clothes for my cat and Ninja costumes for my younger brother. Shortly after my second child was born, I discovered quilting, In 2007 I bought my first longarm quilting machine and haven't looked back.
I have quilted for Cheryl Wall of Country Quilts, Barb Cherniwchan of Coach House Designs and Rachel Griffith of PS I Quilt. I have won many ribbons for my quilting; the highest honor has been the Canadian Quilters Association rosette that I won in 2013. I made the cover of WorkBox Magazine September of 2014; you can read more here.
I started blogging in 2006 so I could share my love of crafts with others. My first love will always be quilting but I also enjoy cardmaking, baking and photography.
Blogging has opened a whole new world for me. One filled with such generosity, kindness, friendships and inspiration.
